Downtown Revitalization
Efforts are currently underway to transform downtown Waterbury into a vibrant, commercial, educational and cultural destination for visitors, residents, and workers. Listed below are several organizations currently involved with this process.
Main Street Waterbury is a grassroots community organization for downtown revitalization and historic preservation. Through its four points of design, promotion, economic restructuring and organization Main Street Waterbury is an advocate for its architectural and cultural assets, organizes volunteer initiatives, sponsors events and fosters public and private partnerships.
